Paintings from the Collection provides information and images on almost all the paintings in the QVMAG Fine Art collection. For the first time you can search through our painting collection online.
The collection consists of Australian art - colonial to contemporary - with a particular focus on the Tasmanian colonial period. There is also a small collection of European oil paintings. Over half the paintings have come into the collection as gifts or bequests, many from the people of Launceston.
