If you love learning, Launceston and the opportunity to share one of its most treasured places with a broad range of visitors this could be for you.
The Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery is pleased to announce that we are now recruiting for Guides and will be commencing a comprehensive training program in March 2017.
QVMAG Guides provide wide-ranging expert tours of the collection and exhibitions to diverse audiences – both adults and children – including school groups, Gallery members, corporate clients and VIPs. Specially trained guides also assist with our public and education programs.
If you're interested, come along to an Information Sessions to find out about the role of guides, the training schedule and QVMAG Volunteer Program.

Wednesday, 15 February 2017 at 10.30am AND 5.30pm - Queen Victoria Art Gallery, 2 Wellington Street

For more information please contact the Volunteer Program by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: (03) 6323 3706.
Our volunteer guides do so from a love of the museum/art gallery and the collection itself. On rare occurrences when they are unable to provide a guided tour, we invite you to enjoy looking around the spaces at your own leisure. Most objects and exhibits provide extensive labels and our Attendants are also happy to be of further assistance for you.
